Mentored Internship Program (MIP) Grant
🏆 THANK YOU to the Mentored Internship Program (MIP) grant funding from the Behavioral Health Workforce Development project! In total SDFHC is receiving $303,870.00!
Samuel Dixon Family Health Center Inc. received a Notice of Award from the Department of Healthcare Services to increase access to Behavioral Health services, particularly for the low-income and uninsured. This grant will allow us to increase the number of Behavioral Health interns each semester to a total of six, two rotating at our Newhall Location and four rotating at the Valencia Behavioral Health office, as well as adding a full-time licensed Behavioral Health professional.
