October 18, 2007 LOS ANGELES COUNTY – Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich joined Ed Bolden, Board President, and Cheryl Laymon, Executive Director, from the Samuel Dixon Health Center, in commending Chiquita Canyon for their vital support of the 5th Annual Rubber Ducky Regatta benefiting the Samuel Dixon Health Center at the Board of Supervisors weekly meeting. On October 20, 2007, 10,000 adopted rubber duckies will be raced on Castaic Lake, with proceeds from the event going directly to the Samuel Dixon Health Clinic. The event will also feature live music, food, and children’s entertainment. For over 20 years, the Samuel Dixon Health Center has provided vital health services including primary medical services, immunizations, pediatrics, women's health, school physicals, family planning, laboratory services and referrals to low-income residents in the Santa Clarita Valley.
